Naomi is a versatile teacher specialized in psoas and fascia focused yoga therapy, personal sessions, as well as yoga for the eyes. Naomi teaches in a friendly, encouraging way aimed to provide you with an efficient, vibrant practice and enable you to tap into your deepest truth, connect with what is essential and nourish yourself in your core. Her teaching style induces sensory movement, the awareness of energy body and the art of attention. Naomi feels yoga practice as a pulsing, joyful and enriching experience that supports one in being their most natural self.
Yoga was brought to her at a young age by her grandmother who had a fascinating book on yoga full of captivating illustrations. Naomi started meditation, energy work and path of self-growth in 1996 when she learnt Transcendental Meditation and got initiated into Reiki. In 2003 she took her first Ashtanga class and discovered the joy of feeling good inside the body instead of taking refuge in the mind. Having worked as translator and interpreter at a war crimes tribunal, Naomi witnessed the depth of human pain and is committed to sharing the practices that empower students to connect with their most authentic self and live a fulfilled, happy life.
Teaching since 2006, Naomi followed Yoga Moves TT Levels 1&2 with Katiza Satya and Hilary Brown, 9 TT modules by Shiva Rea, Ashtanga TT with David Swenson, David Williams, Danny Paradise, numerous Anusara TTs and immersions with John Friend and other teachers. She earned Inspired Anusara status in 2011. She is certified in the use of fascia therapy balls and in 2016 developed her own yoga for the eyes practice that freed her from the need to wear lenses.
Her teachers are also Peruquois, Tomislav Budak, Mantak Chia, David Whyte, Peter Levine and Liz Koch.
