Reset body and mind in this 2 hour XL practice that combines Yin Yoga and Pranayam.
Yin yoga involves holding poses for extended periods of time. We benefit from the release of tension deep within the tissues of the body. We also unblock the flow of prana, the vital life force, within the subtle body to elevate our consciousness. Pranayam involves the manipulation of prana through specific yogic breathing techniques. Pranayam can have a very relaxing and healing effect because of its ability to regulate and balance our nervous systems. We will engage in these breathing techniques after a healing Yin Yoga asana practice. The practice will conclude with meditation, healing relaxation, and chanting.
