Core Rehab Postnatal Yoga/Mvmt 4-week series is for new mamas and babies (0-crawling)

Welcome to the 4th Trimester! 

The first forty days after the birth of a child are an essential and fleeting period of rest and recovery for the new mother. As soon as you feel ‘ready’ rebuild and reconnect to the deep core and pelvic floor, this class is for you mama (and baby)!!!! Join other new moms and babies as you return to the mat to heal and re-strengthen together. This is a fun community class that allows you to connect to other woman on the same healing journey, so that you can feel strong and confident in other yoga/mvmt classes as well as beyond.

Strong for Pregnancy, strong for Birth, strong for Parenthood, strong for life.


It’s recommended to “coregulate” for the first 2-3 weeks / The First 40 Days “Lying In” (rest, heal & bond)


Once you’ve been “cleared” to return to exercise you can start “Recovery” (at 4-6 weeks) 

In this series we focus on CoRehab: (3-12 weeks), Rebuilding: (5-20 weeks), Restrengthening: (12mo-1yr +),… Every journey os unique… Remember you are postpartum for the rest of LIFE after giving birth to a baby.

Taught by certified, trained and experienced Postnatal Yoga teacher (mama of two) Maggie Bijl. Through years of education and training as well hands-on/personal experience, Maggie has become an expert in the field of all things Postpartum, personally recovering from Diastasis Recti as well as pelvic floor ‘issues’ and chronic low back-pain. By fusing her knowledge with challenging and incredibly effective movements, she’s created a method of COrehab (healing, core-specific and re-strengthening movements) to support your recovery after Pregnancy + Birth. You’ll be able to take these techniques and tools learned and strategically apply them to your practice both inside as well as outside the studio to optimize your daily routine/life.

The Mindful Mama method provides you with easy to implement tools, effective techniques + exercises, that will give you a sense of empowerment that will last well into motherhood.

Maggie won’t just support you in those first few weeks/months postpartum, she’ll teach you valuable tools that prepare you for motherhood & help you prevent and heal diastasis recti, pelvic floor incontinence, prolapse, and other pregnancy-related injuries. Maggie mindfully guides you through each and every class so you don’t have to worry about whether you’re doing an exercise that could create core dysfunction, increase back + pelvic pain, or inhibit your core from healing post pregnancy.

This method is a blend of mindful mama meditation, breathing techniques, functional strength, re-strength training and post-pregnancy/birth core-specific movements. Each and every class is designed safely and specifically for you mama and will increase your mindfulness for a stronger and a faster postpartum recovery.

*This series is Live/In-Studio with Mama and babies, there’s plenty of space in the studio entrance for strollers and carseats. This class will also be recorded LIVE so that if you happen to miss a class or need to nurse/tend to baby, you can catch up later on your own time!!!!
