Rani Damsteegt

Rani was first introduced to yoga at the age of 14 by her mother. Since then, yoga has

been offering stability, resilience, and connection through every phase of her life.

Her yoga journey began with Hatha yoga, gradually evolving into a passion for Vinyasa.

This led her to pursue a Vinyasa teacher training, complemented by additional

certifications in Yin, Prenatal & Postnatal yoga, and Children’s yoga.

As a psychologist specialized in complex trauma, Rani integrates both Trauma-

Sensitive Yoga principles and Mindfulness-Based therapeutic techniques into her

teaching, and feels passionate about creating a safe and nurturing space for all

students. In her personal practice, she has discovered the power of strength-based poses and

functional movement. Her classes reflect this balance, blending strength and flexibility to

support both physical and emotional well-being.
