Honoring Transitions - embracing grief & change

  • Yogaseads 24 Maaswijkstraat Den Haag, ZH, 2586 CD Nederland (kaart)

With Hannah de Waal

Change and loss are the most natural parts of life, yet the grief they bring can be one of the most complex human experiences. Whether it is the death of a loved one, the loss of a relationship, a life transition, or a global crisis, there is plenty to grieve in the modern world. Although it can feel isolating or like a taboo topic, as Sobonfu Somé says, 'grief belongs to everyone'.

In this community circle we move towards the parts of ourselves that take up less space in daily life - the parts that feel lost, or tender, or vulnerable and new. Together we will dive into somatic practices, a creative practice, ritual, and (optional) sharing.
Grief is not only sadness and heaviness - it can also be relief, confusion, even lightness and joy. Ultimately this exploration tends to lead us back to love, and back to our own hearts.

Hannah is a psychologist and somatic therapist who has been navigating grief for most of her adult life. Together with her cofacilitator Yulfriana, she shares a combined 15+ years experience in supporting people through threshold experiences and life transitions.

You are welcome exactly as you are, with all that you carry.
Note: If you are in active grief which is impacting your daily functioning, please check in with Hannah (dewaal.hannah@gmail.com) before signing up.
